my disk space is full coz of lots of movie files,i want to convert them into mp4 or the other suitable format to free my disk space,where i could get the free converters?

Use WinRar to compress your files. They will reduce file size comparatively.Also, these is no need for any conversion.
You can download it by searching on google.

Well the shortest is probably AIV. but that doesnt have sound. I usually go with mov because i know that its prety small but i don't know if it is the smallest. As for converters i think that Mov. Converter is good if you take my advise. There are all over the web but i have heard alot of good things about that one.

"Quick video converter" will b useful for converting movie files to MOV format. As the above person said that mov files are shorter i agree with him.

Use DivX it will compress ur file without loss of quality

Transfer movie files to C.D's or DVDs. They never loose quality.
