She's a sweet little thing! She just turned one. During the day, I find that she sleeps a lot. She wakes up, eats, plays and then back to sleep! Is this normal? She does that all day!

Absolutely. Cats love to play, but they love to nap too! I have 2 cats (adopting my 3rd today) and, while they do play and associate with us, they spend more time napping in the warm sunshine or on top of the radiators than playing. They also enjoy eating and harassing the dog! Your cat is purrfectly normal :)

Yep totally normal, cats sleep for 16 - 18 hours a day!!

Yep, very normal behavior for cats. I use to have several of them, and they slept a lot during the day, then at night they were so wild i had to put them out in the garage so i could sleep.

yeah its normal ,have you ever hear any one say taking a cat nap ?? that is why because they sleep a lot .truly they are a family to big cats like tigers etc,and they are night time hunters.have you ever been woke up by the cat running around at night ?? they do it all night lol any way good luck with your cat and tell him to go to bed at night :)

Cats sleep 'around' twenty to twenty-two hours a day. Your cat is 'totally normal' ... and isn't it 'funny' that we love these creatures so much, when the thing they do most is SLEEP?

She could still be growing which in that case this would be normal. As long as she is eating and drinking okay and then playing with you some she should be okay---start worrying when she stops eating or drinking--then she needs to see a vet

Yes, my cat does this too. At night cats are more active.
