This girl I dated last year had a peculiar thing where she would invite me over when she was with her friends and then act as if I wasn't there. I'd try to get a conversation going with her without success. This happened a few times. She was drunk every time this happened. Could you ladies here provide insight as to why she and other women act this way?

She burned me bad on New Years so I ended up ditching her for a one night stand. I'm just trying to understand this kind of mindset for future reference.

In that case I think she and her friends are more popular than you. but there is an solution for this. that is talk to you girlfriend about this if she does love you she will talk to you in front of her friends. Another way is get to know her friends, so they will think your cool enough to join in their conversation. it worth a shot b/c if you don't do anything about it something bad is gonna happen.
