I live with my step dad and thats it. No mom no real dad. They are jail junkies. Any way, I really want to breed mice. Dad wont let me though. If I said I want a cat, he'd be like "CAT BOX" and I would be like my room and he would be like no. So help me convince him.

If you are demonstrating responsibility for the care your own belongings, your room and responsibility in other areas of your life, maybe your stepdad will one day, consider your request. Maybe he does not like mice, cats or animals. Breeding mice is somewhat of a nuisance activity because most people do not like mice in their homes. Have you considered gardening as a lead in to animal breeding?

Do you have a mouse already? If not, I recommend a rat instead; they don't smell as bad. But they are both nice.
If you breed mice, what will you do with the babies? You need to have a good plan for this. You might be able to sell them to pet stores. Some mice are sold as snake food. How do you feel about this?
I can see that it could be good for you to have a pet, but you do have to plan.

With everything going on, do you really need another responsiblity? Depending on where you live, you may not be allowed to have a cat or breed mice. How about a fish tank?

Hi,
Maybe you could sit down and have a good chat with them. Tell them you promise to study hard or help out the chores in order to keep the mices. But don't forget to keep your promise.

I have a problem with the way you worded this. A step dad can be a real dad to you. Just because he isnt your blood dad doesnt mean he isnt a dad. Anyways to your question... He is your dad, his house, his rules.
