Dont pile grease in it..
Anyway, you need to make sure you get your hair properly conditioned on a regular. Try to stay away from chemicals, and harsh heat, protect your hair, and you will have fabulous results. I would suggest using nexxus products, theyre expensive, but you get what you pay for when it comes to haircare, believe me.

No, cutting at the ends doesn't make it grow at the roots. It just makes it look neater. Go to Walmart or a drugstore, and get some Biotin in the vitamin aisle. This is a B vitamin that will help your hair grow. I have white-girl hair, so I can't advise about treatments for yours, but I would ask at a good salon for recs. Or go to a beauty supply store like Sally, they have products for AA hair and can advise you on the best ones.

to make your hair grow, take good care of it.
get a regular hair cut, which is probably once per 3 weeks (only about a quarter of an inch)
get hot oil every month
shampoo every other day condition every day
eat healthy foods (yes, it shows on your hair)
do not brush or comb too hard
the protein treatment, i think, is a scam. ask someone first that had it done on her hair. and see if its worth the money.

I've heard trimming your hair helps. My stylist told me that. I don't know why though. Just cut off an inch or two. It's really not that bad.

Hair is just made up of dead cells, so I don't really know why protien would work, but I have heard that protien does help.

Don't forget to eat nutrients that help your hair! Look it up on the Internet to see which ones help. I think that is the best solution.

Good luck!

Trimming your hair does NOT promote hair growth. It does however help make your hair healthier by getting rid of the split ends. There is no "thing" that will make your hair grow faster really.

if your hair ends are damaged then they really do have to be cut, maybe half an inch or less on a reguler bais. I do that for my waist length AA hair and use these products at www.precioushue.biz
good luck
