i am 13 and want to go to the mall today with my brother whos 14 and my mom keeps saying maybe how do i persuade her into letting me go? and the house is SO messy should i clean it b4 i ask her and should i get dressed b4 i ask her? thx a bunch!

I would definitely clean the house because this will show her you are thinking logically about how your absence while at the mall won't affect her personally. Understand? She can relax while you and your brother socialize and goof off at the mall. As soon as the house is picked up, run get dressed as if you think it's a good idea that she let you go. p.s., She may be very concerned about your personal safety since so many girls get kidnapped from malls, so if she says "no", try to understand her fear. Never talk to strangers!

Just by helping clean-isn't the answer! You have to show all-around responsibility. Yes, clean the house, but don't get dressed just yet, wait for her answer. If she says no, don't argue! That shows big responsibility & respect! That way, next time you ask she'll remember how maturely you acted, thus, letting you go. hope i was a big help to u!!

You don't get something for nothing. Show a little initiative by helping around the house (after all, you live there too) and you won't have to persuade her very much. Good luck.

Well, in my opinion... you should help in cleaning the house (ask ur brother to help too so that it can be finished earlier). After that, ask her permission and if she says yes... u know what to do but if she says no, pls don't be dissapointed for i believe that she has her own reason.

If you clean up the house, this should help your mom decide to take you to the mall.
The reason moms often don't take their kids to the mall is, they (the moms) have too much work to do. If you help with the work, she will probably be much more willing.

your momma want's you to clean I'm a tired mom and I get up early so I can clean the house before it get's dirty again but if my daughter wants to do something she get's extra chores because I have to use my gas to get her to and from and that isn't cheap I think your mom would be pleased if you did it without her saying anything.
