Over the last almost two years now we had our mail stolen twice. It has been a full time job trying tog et my identity back, fight or pay for late fees, gets ultilies turned back on, etc. and my credit seems irrepairably damaged. I have police reports and dispostion reports from the local and federal Governments (The first time it was stolen by postal employees) and other "official" papers but many creditors and other business establishments don't seem to believe this has happened. (I understand that it SOUNDS like a lie that stuff would be stolen twice within such a short period of time). The big problem is we really need two new cars and I'm afraid I can't get financing or if I do the interest rates will bankrupt me. HELP?! Do you think it would help to send all the info I have to the crediting bureaus and let them work it out with creditors?
