I always go through a certain routine in the morning, shower, moisturize, makeup...so on and so on. When it comes to my hair I towel dry it then put about a hand full of mousse in it, when I dry it staright ( naturally it goes straight) it always looks really full and thick, but through out the day it goes completely flat. My question is, how do I keep that morning look, of full and thick, throughout the day? Thank you.

Also NO I do not want to just put my hair in a pony tail, thats the lazy way of doing it. I like to take time to make myself look good. Don't get me wrong I do put my hair up every once in a while but not when I'm going out or to work. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Well, mousse is a good idea, but many times it only last little while. Unless you're hair is curly, but yours apparently isn't. So a good idea would be...hm. There's a lot of things to try. I know Aussie is actually a very good idea, but if you use Aussie, you'll need to adopt the whole line; shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, etc. Another good idea is that newer brand, Sun-silk. Trust me, this is a wonderful hair-care line. But it takes about a week to get full effect. Patience patience. In the end it's worth it. Just avoid Pantene. It is a huge NO-NO! It has paraffin wax in it that will make a mess of your hair after just the first week.

Use a good hairspray on top of it, the mousse is not enough. A good hairspray will keep the hair protected from elements that will attempt to flatten it. Also, another thing I would suggest is when you go to the restroom throughout the day, when you wash your hands, dry your hands by fluffing your hair. The moisture is just enough to fluff it back up again a little more and keep it looking good.

Mine does the same thing, I've accepted this is just the way my hair is. I use a volumizing gel, and a texture wax, but it still goes flat. Using less product makes it look flat AND frizzy. Not a good look. Once or twice a day I flip my head over and fluff it up, this helps for a while. Maybe a more layered cut would help keep the volume in your hair?

search the internet for some hairspray that adds volume to your hair. also, try to add waves to your hair so that it will look kinda puffy, but not too much.
