If you want him the way to get him is to keep eye contact with him longer than natural, keep looking at him and make sure he knows it. Smile embarrassedly when he 'catches' you and tell your friend you fancy him when he is looking your direction. That way, she will swing roun giggling and he will knw your so into him.
If he likes you then he'll start sowing alot of interest back.
If he's shy text him and tell him you think he's hot and would be be interested.

its obvious that you want to know more about him. my advice would be to look for a good opportunity and have a conversation w him. its always best to be friendly in these kinds of situations because you would want the guy to feel comfortable around you. once he realizes that, you'll be more approachable to him...and you can bring your relationship to the next level.
