Is there a date for their birthdate to meet?

I think it is 3-4 years of age and they usually like the children to be potty trained at that time. I remember when my family was thinking of putting my little brother in a preschool, that was one of the major questions they asked, "If he was already potty trained." Some places won't take children if aren't.

A child enters Kindergarten when he or she is 6 years old, thus a child should be enrolled in Preschool anytime form the age of 3-6, before starting elementary education.

You have to be 4 by Sept 1st in Alabame; unsure of other states for headstart and I think 3 for preschool.

It depends on the program. So have programs for children that are two, some have cut off dates, some have to be potty trained. Call the program that you are interested in and see.

i think you have to be 4 by it used to be the 1st. of sept.
they change things all the time your local board office could tell you for sure all states may be different with the date

It depends on your school system. Usually it is somewhere between 3.5-4.5 yrs.
