I don't think it matters what time you sleep, as long as you get enough sleep.

No i doubt it. Spots can be caused by losts of reasons but definately not the hour you go to sleep at. Possibily lack of sleep can cause you to be more stressed which causes hormone fluctuation and changes and that can cause spots. Also changing facial creams/washes, hormones for girls (time of month), chocolate, what you eat and the weather conditions your skin is exposed to can all contribute to spots...so going to sleep earlier isn't going to impact these factors.
For spots you want to get rid of quickly i advise TCP, it's great. Also drink a lot of water to keep hydrated and eat well.
