Younger brother help. Like 2 weeks ago I saw some of my personal stuff in his room.?

I didnt say anyting. But after talking to my friend Brit I kind figured what he was doing with them. My question is should I tell him to stop stuff or just tell mom? I don't want him to get into alot of trouble but dont know what to do. It's kind of an icky situation. just so you know the stuff he had was 2 of my undies. Thanks for help.

Your mom may react in a manner that my scar him mentally. It would be best if you spoke to him in a reasonable way and then made the undergarments less accessible. If your mom is told she may yell at him or make him feel really bad. It wont take away the impulse just mask them and as he grows older the impulse will keep building up since it is being repressed. He is a male so understand the masculine aspect of what he is doing. It may not be that they are yours, just that they are a female's. Tell him that you don't appreciate what he does and you would like for him to stop, don't threaten him with telling mom either, it will be that same as simply telling her. By being subtle and not argumentative you help him understand the wrong in his actions, not make him feel threatened and this stopping it to not get hit or something.

Discuss this situation with your mom. She will be able to handle this situation in a better way. Shouting and punishing your bro may not help in long run.

Tell him you'd appreciate it if he'd stay out of your room and leave your things alone.
If it happens again myabe mention it to your mom in privacy.
