It depends on a lot of things, why this has happened would be a start. Is your occlusion off that's caused this wearing. Do you have crowns on the upper that have caused excessive wear on the lowers? Porcelain wears very hard on the tooth enamel.

If its crowns on the opposing that have done this or caused the wearing of the enamel they may be able to do a repair on the lower. Sometimes a composite restoration can be placed on the lower to rebuild them. This won't be as strong as your natural teeth or even crowns, but is a lot less expensive. You'll just need to be careful about biting into anything hard that can torque the teeth causing the composite to break off taking some tooth structure with it. The uppers should then be adjusted to keep them from occluding with the lowers to prevent this wearing pattern. It really depends on the size of the composite being placed as to the cost. Yours would probably be a 4 surface which is around $180.00 per tooth. Although some may require less material and the dentist may charge you less for those.

Your other option would be to crown each tooth and have them adjusted so they don't occlude or barely touch. Crowns vary in different areas and dentist. On average a crown is approximately $700.00. So you can see the difference in cost. Although the composite is less expensive, it's not as strong and may need to be redone at some point. The crowns are permanent and may need to be redone in anywhere from 5-10 or even 20 years depending on your oral health and care. They are a more permanent means of restoring the teeth.

In either case, we still need to know what caused this to happen. Is it your normal bite of the upper occluding "over" the lower causing excessive wear? Or do you occlude "end to end?" It could also be that your grind at night. In all events the "problem" needs to be corrected either by “adjustment” or by use of a “night guard.” The night guard is usually around $150.00 to $250.00 depending on the dentist and area you live as I mentioned before. Talk to the dentist and I'm sure he can solve the problem and restore your teeth to a natural shape and size before the nerves are exposed requiring even further expense to be incurred. Good luck and I hope that I’ve been of some help with this problem.

You can have them built up again. A bridge actually requires the grinding down of teeth to place a prothesis over them. There is a type of molding material that dentists can use to build teeth back up.
Of course this is expensive stuff. A bridge with two teeth is about 2500.00. You could expect to pay 800 or more per tooth.
Maybe if there is a university in your area where they train dentists you could get lucky and have it done for much less.

Well you can have them built up again and it depends on the Dental Proffesional you go to for the cost....he/she will also tell you that you need to start wearing a night guard which is basiclly a plastic mold that fits around the upper teeth. and they will take teeth impressions probably during the same appointment that you get your teeth built up.

You need to see a dentist as soon as possible as it's impossible to accurately diagnose your problem on the forum. Whilst some of what's been written is true, it may not apply to your own teeth.

Not sure but I would bet it would be a pretty penny. Shouldn't you be using a bite guard. I do and it helps a great deal, although they do wear out but they're not expensive to get made. Good Luck!

Well, I have no idea, but it will cost a pretty penny. But why haven't you been wearing a night guard to prevent this... assuming that, like many people, this occurs during sleep.

you ground your teeth? dude, I didn't even know you could do that.
I think you can have them replaced, and yes, it's going to cost a pretty penny.

I reckon you will have to have a chat with your dentist. He/she might suggest having them capped - it won't be cheap whatever you have done to them. - Good Luck!
