If i was you get a retraining order, Im am surprised that the officer didnt do anything, is there more to your story? you can actually make a complaint at the staion. They will have every call filed and paper work if you dont have the badge number or name.

First of all, While it is a sad thing to see this happen, you must face facts. Restraining orders are worthless because they are violated all the time. A peice of paper won't stop him from coming after you if he decides to do it.
How old is your daughter? Can she write a statement? can she give a verbal statement. Most departments have detectives who are assigned to handle sex crimes and CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN. I put the two together because most departments combine the caseload. Take your daughter and you friend to the local Sheriff's/police station and have them take statements. Get child protective services involved. Please use legal channels but, demand to speak to someone who can help you. Did anyone take pictures and is it too late for you to take pics? there are many ways you can protect yourself. Do you have a neighborhood watch? If so, get them involved. I wish I could help more. I hate seeing this kind of thing happen but, it is a sad part of our society. I truly wish you the best!

So the other victim goes and files thier own report, or talks to the supervisor and gets the report corrected.

Either go to your local district attorney or if you have an attorney let them go for you. In some states the State Police will investigate local police departments failure to act or in reality adding to the criminal act at this police department did by not arresting your husband.

Get a restraining order and a gun, next time he comes at you, shoot him and anyone else he has with him. Tell the police you feared for your life, even if you go on trial, you can bring up this incident, no sane jury in the world will convict you.

sue. go to civil court with them and u can get money. they failed to protect u and the other victims and they didn't even try to help you. get the other victims on board and take legal action. u deserve better and im sorry that happened to you, or get a restraining order against your husband, but go with the first one.

Get a restraining order, see a lawyer see if anyone heard you,
approach the Police and notify them, so that in the event of this
happening again you are ready for it, do not be his victim get
self defence classes, talk to neighbours, get a notification on
the net so that everyone in the universe knows what kind of
person he is............................................................................................
