I'm 14 and in the eigth grade , me and my bf have been together for 2 weeks and he's never called me , i've reminded him and gave him my # numerous of times and still no calls, my mom says if he don't call this weekend to dump him should i??????

I know you've hear about girls maturing faster than boys......
Yeah, well tellin a guy in eigth grade to call you (MOST OF THE TIME!) is like when you were in 5th grade and you would call your crushes house and hang up before anyone answered.....
He may just not be ready for it yet. If he's a nice guy, and u 2 can still make plans to be together w/o the phone, I say give him some time.

I think that there might be reasons he does not want to tell you because he is embarrased. Try to talk with him and see what they are but if there are no reasons then you need to decide what you want and not your mother. If there are good reasons why he does not call like maybe his parents monitor his calls, then maybe there are other things he could do like e-mail or write you. What ever happened to "love" notes? he could write you long notes of everything he would have told you and just give them to you the next day. you could do the same? Also, at 14 years old... what more is there but calling on the phone? Do you at least spend time together like maybe at the mall, movies or parks? Ask him, if he does not have an answer then dump him if you are unhappy with what is going on but still be friends. You are young and you will recover. Maybe later he will understand and tell him to come back and see you then.

okay we dont live in the dark ages Do you call him??? Do you hang out in school? hunny your question of dumping him because he doesnt call. If it seriously bothers you then sure maybe this guy isnt for you. First ask him if he doesn't wanna talk on the phone (very common, something they dont grow out of) see if he is willing to text message or IM. Give him a chance tell him how you feel. If no changes within the next month then listen to your mom.

Firstly tell your mum to butt out. She should be giving advice not telling you what to do.
Secondly, your 14 and going out with a guy for a week or two. It's not a big deal and if he causes more problems then good you could give him the boot. Or he may have his own personal reasons for not calling you. Ask him and you can decide from there.

ok.. i dont know what girls dont get about this... i am in the 7th grade and i am a dude... listen to what i say and tell all your friends... guys do not like to talk on the phone with their gf!!15-20 mins ok fine but lik 40 mins never ever do that alright well just sit this asswipe down and tell him that if he doesnt call you that you will break up with him, because i know why you are upset i usually call my gfs.. so just maybe give him a call and see whats goin on hope this helps. dont forget to tell your friends what i said

I guess it depends on your definition of a Boyfriend. Have you seen him in two weeks ? Are you sure he has a phone. Why do you need a phone call so bad ? Boys and girls have different views on communication. Try writing letters.

Let me tell you straight up, he's not interested in you. I don't mean that in a negative way, but if you give a man your number god knows how many times and he still doesn't call you, that right there should tell you that he's not interested in wanting to get to know you. My advice, just let him be free.

Don't dump him.He may just be busy,or he is shy about calling you.Maybe he likes you so much,he is nervous.Why don't you ask for his #?Then you could call him.This happened to me in the 5th grade,but i talked to him and then he told me he was nervous.He called me later that day.Good Luck.
