The best thing that you can do for your mother, is to help her with whatever she needs help with.
Being a mother myself, I don't expect my daughter to spend her money on me. I really appreciate it when she offers to help me around the house or help me in the yard.
Even just wanting to spend the day with me doing whatever.
It's all about wanting to spend quality time with her that she would really appreciate.

You can do some extra chores, plus you can write her a letter. In your letter tell her about the best time you had with her, the funniest, the silliest and so on. Tell what you admire most about her. Tell her what is the one wish you have for her. You can buy a treat which you both can sit down and enjoy or if you have any brothers and sisters you can all sit down and enjoy. You don't need a lot of money to give your mom a gift. Hope you have fun! (you can add drawings, stickers, and/or pictures on the letter and envelope. Also if you mail it to her so she can get it on the week of Mother's day that would be a happy surprise for her!).

Say you LOVE her and give your mum a GREAT BIG HUG.
The best present for your mum is your LOVE.
For my mum I always got her flowers or something I made for her because it felt more special for me.
Buy what ever you think. Like a card, a flower or make up. Just as long as it comes from the heart.
You will know what to buy cause you know your mother better than any of us.

Get her a salon pedicure!! This is pampering to the utmost!! If they cost too much where you live get her a manicure at a salon!
I am a Mom and I would LOVE this! Mom's usually work hard and need to be pampered every now and then.
You must be a great daughter to really search this hard for ways to bless Mom!

I'm a mammy, and i've always loved getting nice photo frames, with a picture of the kids already in it. And they are quite cheap, so you would easily get one for under 30 dollars.

How about setting up an appointment to have a picture of you and your mom taken together? (If you have other sister's you could include them too) You could all wear white on a white background. It would be more and more treasured as the years pass.

Since you cant afford a gift card to a salon make a salon of your own! put rose petals in a bath tub buy some facial masks and scrubs. then you can buy some tea or coffee and her favorite candy or chocolate (chocolate is the best but if she doesnt like it...) or if you can cook make her breakfst in bed and serve her pancakes and coffee with a rose on the tray or something like that.

I like lily's answer it's very sweet I never expect anything from the kids but if I didn't have to do hardly anything around the house or yell at them for fighting it would be heaven.
