I would say yes even though I am married. I was 32 when I got married and before I was married I was asking the same question that you are now asking. If you don't have a partner you do have more freedom to travel and do other activities as you wish. As long as you have a good base of friends to communicate with I would say that one could be happy without a life partner.

As much as I love men, I also love being on my own just as much. And with family, friends (both male an female) I really do not have "need" for a man. If the right one were to come along though i'd go for it, of course, but it would have to be the right relationship or none. Those are my only options. I will never again have a partner just to have a companion. Being single certainly does have its advantages as well... I enjoy it!

I was discussing this with a friend the other day. We were both married at the same age(the first time for her), I am still married and she is going through her second divorce. When I talked about the relationship my husband and I have she was able to say that she never experienced that, the closeness and dreams of the future. I know I can survive without my husband, but I really don't want to.

Absolutely. Millions of women are doing it right now, and they're very happy. It's possible to achieve fulfillment without a partner. If anything, having a partner would make me suffer a decrease in happiness.

i can live life for now without a partner. but for long time? like 5 to 10 yrs, i dont know. have been separated from my husband for 4yrs now. but since then i have dated. but no regular boyfriend. i guess i can but im not closing my doors entirely. its kind of lonely. but its also stressful when u have a partner that dont share same vision with you.

Absolutely. This is not a "can" question. The question is do you want to live your life solo? I know I could do it. I just choose not to.

Absolutely, there are lots of successful people who choose to live their lives alone. Being alone doesn't mean being "lonely".
So yes, it's possible to live your life solo, but why anyone wants to is beyond me.

Yes, I really think you can. I also think that some people are in relationships just to be in them but are actually solo in those relationships anyway.

sure you can. Not everyone needs a partner. If you feel complete without someone to share with. then go for it. nothing wrong with that at all.

It has its good side and bad. It gets to be a bit lonely at times, but there are less dishes to wash. You have no one to go do things with, but it cost less to do it. You can come and go as you please, but there is no one there to give you a hug after a long day at work. The whole thing just depends on how you look at it .
