We'll make the fight at featherweight. Morales will have to fight the 15 round championship distance that was used during the era Chacon fought in. At their best at this weight.

Brent ~

In my opinion, this would be a tough fight for Chacon. I love the fighters of the 80's but in this case I'm going to have to go with Morales.

Chacon was the true meaning of heart whenever he was in the ring and Morales is still the meaning of heart whenever he's in the ring. Bobby had problems with fighters that were taller than he was and often get caught with shots that would hurt him as he worked his way inside. Eric would catch Bobby with shots up the middle something that Bobby got caught with often. Watch the Lopez/Chacon and not only that fight but his fights against Bazooka Limon, Ruben Olivares and Boza Edwards, and you'll see what I mean.

Eric in my opinion, hit the harder of the two and in his prime when the wars he has yet to fight would be just a little too much for Chacon. Eric's long arms and nice straight right hand would land often on a very stationary Chacon. Eric doesn't posses the power to knock out Bobby but he would hurt him and hurt him often.

Eric Morales would win a 15 round split decision, Chacon would be the aggressor but Morales would land the cleaner crisper shots.

Thanks for the question Brother.

Good question Brent! I cannot top Santana's answer on this one. I watched Chacon fight lots of times and he was aggressive and tough with pretty good punching power too and a true warrior in the ring. Morales is a very skilled boxer who has better movement in the ring and also has very good punching power and probably more than Chacon's. Chacon would of course try to get inside of Morale's reach but would be met with solid punches and jabs throughout the fight. I believe that because of his determination and toughness that Chacon would make this a competitive fight but that Morales who has the superior skills would win a unanimous decision.

Erik was on of the best of his day, but Chacon was one of the best of all time. This one would have been a war, and the result would have been that Chacon would have wore Morales down much the same way Pacquiao did.

Morales strikes up in weight to combat the better growth growth Mancini. i think this would be a war together because it lasted with the two combatants status toe to toe changing stressful punches to the top and physique. by using the seventh around i think that Mancini by using sheer power and resolution knocks out Morales.
