At one time, humans spoke one language. In the days of Nimrod, Jehovah wanted the people to spread out in the land. But in an attempt to stay together, they went to work to construct a tower (the Tower of Babel). But Jehovah confused their language, so that they could no longer understand one another. So they gradually stop further construction on the tower and then spread out in the land, using different languages. Gen. 11:9

The account of Adam and Eve in the Bible is true and makes a lot more sense of the observed evidence than evolutionary fairy tales.
Likewise the account of the dispersal and creation of different languages makes sense. Evolutionists have trouble explaining the origin of languages. Look around and you can see that languages seem to be becoming fewer and simpler - devolution if you like :)

As to why there are different languages - God had told Noah and his descendants to spread all over the earth. They disobeyed and built a tower up to the heavens (possibly for astrological reasons). To force people to disperse throughout the earth God confused the languages so people couldn't understand each other. Perhaps each extended family or clan spoke one language. Pretty clever way to get people to stop cooperating and go their own ways.

I am a man of logic and reason the bible is bronze age myths like King Arthur tho no one uses King Arthur as a way of life. The Adam and Eve story expects you to believe two people gave birth to all the races around the world and children had sex with each other. If like me you use reason you will think this is a very backwards idea for how many black people were born form two Jews answer none so it is imposable. Evolution explains why we have different races and languages it is supported by a thing the bible has none of EVIDENCE

Actually, in areas of the world where there is no literacy, languages evolve very quickly. You can still go to areas in the Himilayas and Hindu Kush mountains where two villages are seperated only by 20-30 miles and started out with the same languages, but within 5 generations the dialects are different enough to pose a language barrier.

Look at what's happening right now on the internet. The two younger generations are already developing their own dialect of internet English:

ROFLMAO
MYIRL
LOL

...etc...

So why would Adam and Eve's children be any different?

The story of Adam and Eve is true.
one of Allah sign is our different in languages and origins looks though everyone is special, everyone has his own thumb, voice etc.
that mean if there is no God then why we did not look all the same.
when Allah created Adam from mud he asked the angles to bring mud from different area in the world
That is why we are different in colour but you never see a man whose colour is green or pink.
The way people behave when they know the truth as the truth ( rain )from the sky , people are mud ( some believe ) they grow as Garden , they are good for them and for other,
some kind of mud keep the water , they are good for other but not good for them
some of them like the sea water , are not good for them nor the other
some of them are like mud which only you can find fly upon them are bad for them and other

people in the same family have different dialects, each one has his own words.

The story of Adam and Eve is a creation myth. It draws on earlier Sumerian mythology, as much of Judeo-Christian ideology does. The story as most Christian's know it is incomplete. The Midrash mentions the existence of another wife of Adam, Lilith, who was said to have been rejected by Adam because she wished to be his equal. Lilith is associated with Babylonian demonology.

The story was likely written by Jews seeking to explain the nature of sin and man's removal from God. It was never meant to be a literal truth. This belief has arisen in much later years, as the Christian church grew in dominance.

Because people who tell you that we are
all decendants of Adam and Eve are not
knowledgeable.
On the sixth day all the races were created
(in the flesh). On the 7th day, God rested.
On the 8th day, Adam was created (in the flesh) and Eve was formed.
There were thousands of people on the earth, not just Adam and Eve.
Just a side-note for fun:
The manuscripts do not say that a rib was taken from Adam to form Eve; it says
a "curve". Ever hear of a dna curve?
interesting......

Some people consider the story of babel true, and others consider it nothing but babble.

Scientists consider that our species began in Africa. From there, people migrated around the world and became fairly isolated from others. If some of your offspring moved to Mars and were completely isolated from earth for generations, do you recognize how their language might begin to become quite different from that of your descendants who remain on earth?

A lot of religions have a Adam and Eve, as people spread out over the earth they took the story with them. Noah took his wife and three sons with their three wives onto the ark. When they got out of the ark, Ham, whose name means dark or black settled from Turkey into Africa. Shem, which gives us the root in the word Semitic, settled into the Middle East and Asia. Japheth, whose name means bright or fair, settled in Eastern Europe, Russia and into Scandinavia. The Chinese find their roots in Shem, who worshiped the God of Israel. The scientists of today acknowledge we come ffrom one man and one woman. There was an article from the USA Today , dated May 26,1995 that states Studies of a tiny section of Y chromosome in 38 men from all around the world suggest they all descended rom a common ancestor. The modern humans have little genetic diversity and are a much younger species than believed. About six thousand years old. Before they learned to record the facts by writing them down people had to count on passing the story down by telling them , and we all know how the telephone game turns out! But those that actually wrote down and recorded in cuneiform were able to pass down an accurate story, verses those that simple told the story over and over. The different languages came from when all of mankind had gathered together at Bable and decided to build a building that went up to the heavens. God had given them instructions to spread out and populate the earth, when they did not do this, they decided to stay in Bable and build this tall building, God confused their language so that they could not understand one another and they could no longer work on the building and had to spread out with the people that spoke their language. This is where the word bable comes from. The Bible is for the Christians, The first five books of the Bible are for the Jews. The Muslims and Islams come from the slave tribe of Abrahams free wife, when she gave her slave to sleep with Abraham so that he would have an heir to his name, but God opened Sara's womb (the free wife) and gave them a son at the age of 100 so then the son of the slave wife and the slave were thrown out of the group,. This is where all of the problems come in between the Jews and Muslims, Islams, etc. The Jews were given the land that God gave to Abraham and the child of the slave woman got nothing and this is very hard for them to accept so they are constantly fighting with the Jews. But God says that he will bless those that bless the Jews and curse those that curse the Jews. I hope that this as covered the questions that you have. The Christians are the only ones that have accepted Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Savior to the world. The Bible (The Jews and Christians Book) is the only book that has hidden messages in it. The Bible codes. For really great information you should read the Signature of God by Grant Jeffery.

Genesis 10:1 These are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Sons were born to them after the flood. 2 The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. 3 The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah. 4 The sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. 5 From these the coastland peoples spread in their lands, each with his own language, by their clans, in their nations.
