There are a few Turks at my job, and they always say hello to me. I thought it might be cool to answer back.

merhaba [mer-ha-ba]=hello

naber?[naw-ber]--the e is the way you would read it in "bet"--(slang language of "ne haber?" but use naber)= what's up?(literal translation is what news?)

nasılsın?[na-sul-sun]=how are you?

selam[se-lum]= hello(it actually means peace but we use to say hello too)

güle güle [gew-le-gew-le]--the e is the way you would read it in "bet"-- =bye bye(literal translation is go smiling)

görüşürüz(go-rew-shew-rewz)= see you later(literal translation is we'll see each other)

haydi işe arkdaşlar! (hay-dee-ee-she-are-ka-dash-lar) = Let's get back to work!

the thing is it's like spanish, you read the words the way it's written.

İyi şanslar!=Good Luck!

Here are a few for you to use:

1) Merhaba: Means: Hello
2) Gunaydin: Means: Good Morning
3) Nasilsin: Means: How are you?
4) Tessekurler: Means: Thank you.
5) Iyi Geceler: Means: Good Night.

I can't help you with the pronunciation, but they will appreciate you trying. Good Luck.
