M & M's are obviously in a contract negotiation with orange right now, maybe they will come to an agreement soon!

There are orange peanut M&Ms. You just have to wait until their seasonal fall mixture arrives in the stores to get them.

Take Smarties - they all taste the same, except the orange ones. That's because the other colours are all made with flavourings, but the orange colour is the only one that tastes of orange as actual oranges have to be used to get the colour.
Maybe the world just isn't ready for orange flavoured M&Ms.
