Yes.

I got shot at once in the Gulf. We had been under motor fire the previous day and I was all shook up.

I fired back and the chaps head blew off. I was fine after that.

I now believe every day is a bonus, what ever the problem is you can solve it or walk away from it. Neigbhour has TV up too loud, turn yours to the same channel and try to watch with no sound on yours.

my roommate and i use to go to this creek where it had a little baby waterfall (maybe 3 or 4 feet tall?) and we'd slide down the hill over and over. and sometimes ever bring a inflatable raft. it was super fun. my mom did it when she was a kid.

but one day we went and it started raining, then it got windy. then we heard a burst of thunder and saw a bolt of lightning so we jumped in the car and headed home. driving home, trees were down in the street, (even big pine trees) and we couldnt get through half the streets we took with all the brush and trees in the road. apparently, we were having a HUGE storm. a tornado, flooding, severe winds and lightning. power outages. after we got home we would look out the window and see cars stranded in the road from the flooding.

anyway, the next day we still had no power, and we were bored, so we went back to the creek. the water was flowing wayyy faster, but we didnt care, it looked like more of an adventure for us. so we grabbed the raft, both got on it, and let go --- we were pulled under the water and we could barely get our heads above the water, and got washed down the creek, due to the storm making the creek water more rapid. the creek had a drop off when you got far enough down, so we got pretty scared. my roommate grabbed my arm, and then managed to grab onto a tree branch still attached to a tree and we pulled ourselves up. we could have been drowned -- or if we had been washed down far enough, the was a huge drop, about 20 feet, down to shallow concrete water.

that definitely changed my life. ill never be so reckless again lol. not to mention, to this day, everytime i laugh hard enough, i get this feeling in my nose, almost like the burn of chlorine when youre in a pool. i got that feeling the day of my last rafting/creek trip. sometimes something may seem harmless, but you should never chance it. im very grateful for my friend, and to have made it out of the creek alive lol.

sorry this is so long, i tend to write things like im writing a novel. :)

Yes, I was sexually abused and it has changed my life completely. Surprisingly, not in all bad ways though. I have learned that what doesnt kill us makes us stronger and I know to be more careful with that sort of thing. The bad things that have changed are that I have been more scared and not quite myself, but I am getting there by the help of sexual abuse therapy. Trust is also another issue.

Yes my dad died when I was 13 in a motorcycle accident. Now I am so scared to ride with people in cars or motorcycles. I completely avoid situations where someone would be driving me somewhere. I also have trust issues.
