The specific roundabout has no hump, just white lines about 2m across.
I think its illegal but not too sure

As long as you're driving the right way round, are not causing a nuisance, and are not endangering anyone else, you can drive round it as many times as you like. Of course, if the cops see you, they might pull you over and do a drunk test on you.

Drive across the centre markings at mini-roundabouts, taking the smoothest line to the required exit, if the markings are simply painted on the road (not raised up). Always bearing in mind that the centre markings could be slippery when wet.
Highway Code (rule 164) :- all vehicles MUST pass round the central markings unless they are physically incapable of doing so.

You can go around any roundabout until you run out of petrol if you like. Just make sure that you don't cause an obstruction when you do break down.
