Ever since i got my hair layered my hair dries and goes all different directions. When i go to straighten my hair it either doesn’t work or if it does it makes it staticy. Also blow drying just makes my hair double in size and get really frizzy. Any ideas to get my hair straight that don’t take too long in the morning?

i have this exact same issue, so don't worry you're not alone. first you need a good straightenner. you don't mention which model you have, but i once had a cheapo Conair straightenner that ruined my hair. now i have a Remington Wet2Straight that has ceramic plates (which protect your hair from breaking) and an ionizer (for frizz reduction) as well as about 30 heat settings for your individual type of hair and whether it's damp or dry. if i don't use my straightenner my hair absolutely will be flipping out every which-way at the ends and it looks awful

i also use a conditioning spray beforehand (i use John Freida's Frizz Ease "Straight Answer" spray), this spray acts as a protectant from the heat of the iron and also has some hold to it so your hair will keep the straight shape

Have you tried a straightening cream like Loreal Paris Hot Straight? I use it and my hair is layered and it protects from the heat an doesn't make m hair frizzy and staticky.

THE BEST straightener in the world is "wet2straight" by Conair....it only costs $30, and it takes like LESS than 2 minutes to warm up in the morning.....plus you can adjust the temperature too!

.... the best straightener in the history of the world , by far ... that was ever created is the Sedu ionic tourmaline straightener. ive been through alot of flat irons, and i cant live without this one..... it doesnt snag on your hair , and it cuts your straightening time in half. "literally !" i have really long frizzy, curly, thick hair ( its like a beast) and it used to take me 1 hr 30 mins to straighten my hair .... now it only takes me 45 mins,,,, still alot, .. but im a perfectionist........its around 130 $ american , but well worth it! it will last you years ......... go to folica.com and search it

good luck<3ps, you might wanna try biosilk products , they work amazingly well!!!!
AND NEVER IRON YOUR HAIR WET >.... EVEN IF YOU DO HAVE A WET TO STRAIGHT STRAIGHTENER

I use Sunsilk Straighten Up shampoo & conditioner, and it works great. I had wavy and puffy hair and that keeps it streight and smooth.
