I was reading a poem by the great woman mystic Rabia Al Basri. She was born in Basra, Iraq and not much is known about her apart from the fact that she was born into poverty, cought by caravan robbers and sold as a slave to a family.

Later on she was set free because one night her owner walked in upon her in the darkness and saw a light enveloping her as she sat down in prayer.

She was also the first woman among sufi mystics who spoke about loving God for the sake of Love.

"O Allah! If I worship You for fear of Hell, burn me in Hell,

and if I worship You in hope of Paradise, exclude me from Paradise.

But if I worship You for Your Own sake,

grudge me not Your everlasting Beauty.”

I agree with The great mystic lady, and love Allah, for Allah alone.
This is the highest form of accepting Allah, as wahda hu la sharik, the one who has no partners.
worshipping Allah for the sake of Paradise, is allowed in Islam, but after the development of your faith, you may reach to the point, where you only love Allah, for the sake almighty Him alone.
For such people Allah almighty has said in Holy Qur'an, "Ala inna Auliya Allahi la khaofun a'alaehim wa la hum yahzanoon".
(Beware, verily, the friends/lovers/supporters of Allah, shall have no fear nor shall they grieve).
This is the reward of Auliya of Allah, where Paradise or Hell is not mentioned over here, just overcomming on ones all kinds of fears and grives is mentioned.
Love and peace.

particular God would be mad. whilst this happens, it is whilst God's wrath will stumble upon the earth of the seven final plagues (see Revelation sixteen). people are dropping the authentic faith of God, and utilising faith in God's call of excepting all religions. What I advise is, in case you study the great king james version Bible, you will see that the authentic writer, who created the heavens and the earth and all that in the time of there is, do no longer different than the worship of alternative gods (see Ezekiel 20:39). In our technology, we are starting to be to be far off from understanding what occurred in historic previous. Society has made historic previous uninteresting and could no longer provide help to be attentive to each and all the certainty. Bible historic previous is a necessity. Google conspiracy of the hot Age circulation, and you will see what this fake love of the idol religions is all approximately. Ever hear of all religions uniting, love your self, your inner self, finally end up, you're able to do it, do exactly it (meaning without God's help). it is the training of we are gods, and that god is in each little thing, the flora, grass, wood, animals, and so on. learn relating to the three angel's messages Revelation 14); the papacy and sunday legislations; study the e book "the super Controversy" by skill of Ellen G. White 1884 version, which tells the historic previous of religion right down to the top of time and explains the three angels messages. particular we could continuously love all of us, yet no longer each little thing they do this violates God's rules. We nonetheless love the guy, yet do no longer different than the sin that coach of their lives. regrettably maximum christian church homes have fallen into this new age circulation. God warns us approximately no longer having wisdom of Him and the snares of devil (see Hosea 4:6). If we don't have wisdom, we are able to be lead into damaging lives. there will be a judgement of each being till now God sometime quickly. some would be rewarded to eternal existence and a few to eternal dying. Jesus loves all of us, yet hates sin, and he won't enable sin stay continuously. Revelation 14:22.

That was a fantastic lady, a real spiritual giant by any standard.

You may have heard about Jalal Al-Din Rumi (1207 - 1273). He too was a Sufi poet. You may see his translated works DISCOURSES OF RUMI at http://www.littleknownpubs.com

Yes, we have that in our Bible as well, or something similar, it gives us the definition of love as well.

"If I make use of the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am like sounding brass, or a loud-tongued bell. And if I have a prophet's power, and have knowledge of all secret things; and if I have all faith, by which mountains may be moved from their place, but have not love, I am nothing. And if I give all my goods to the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it is of no profit to me. Love is never tired of waiting; love is kind; love has no envy; love has no high opinion of itself, love has no pride; Love's ways are ever fair, it takes no thought for itself; it is not quickly made angry, it takes no account of evil; It takes no pleasure in wrongdoing, but has joy in what is true; Love has the power of undergoing all things, having faith in all things, hoping all things."
