my 6 month old kitten was spayed on wednesday. She was quite lively thursday and ate all her food but since thursday night she has not hardly moved. She is just sleeping all the time and not eating much if any at all. Its now Saturday and she's still sleeping in the same spot, she purrs when I give her fuss but just goes back to sleep. Occasioally she'll get up and stretch her legs but only for 5 mins before she goes back to sleep. Is this normal?

I would call the Vet just to be on the safe side.
Not drinking or eating is rather worrying.
Cats can go down hill fast if they don't stay hydrated.

Also, did your Vet give you pain meds for her?
If he did and you're still giving them to her that may be the reason she's sleeping all the time.

But like my first sentence says please call the Vet, don't mess around when it comes to your cats health.

Good luck, I hope kitty feels better soon.

No this is not normal. Call the vet immediately. The vet will probably have you bring her in when they feed the animals they are keeping on the premises. I would have called by now! I have spayed/neutered a total of 6 cats and none of them did what yours is!!

If she/he is not eating and especially NOT drinking water, she needs to see a vet immediately. The kitten might have an infection. A quick telephone call to your vet will give you some peace and will let you know if the kitten should be seen or not.

you need to call your vet and take her back for a recheck.. when you call tell them his symptoms and they will probably get you in right away...
ps... she was spayed if it was a girl and neutered if its a boy..smile
