If you have a license from China to practice medicine you will need to reapply to practice medicine here in the US and vice versa.

In America, there are a couple of names and corresponding Letters given:

1) M.D. (doctor of allopathic medicine); O.M.D (doctor of oriental medicine); and D.A.O.M. (doctor of Asian and oriental medicine).

2) N.M.D., which is a combined allopathic doctor and naturopathic doctor of medicine.

3) N.D., which is doctor of naturopathic medicine, solely, which may have aspects of oriental medicine included.

Finally, specific to your question, the combination would be OMD (or DAOM) and M.D. 'Because the two are so different, and the study would be so great in their approaches to medicine that few if any schools yet exist that combine the two... But this is verily changing indeed as evidenced by the N.M.D. degree...
