You need to check with your personal vet about the cost for the surgery. If you are trying to get a comparison, call all of your local vets, describe what needs to be done, and ask for an estimate of the cost. If the cost is excessive, I think most vets will help you by providing a payment plan. The sooner you do this the better it will be for you and your poor little pug. I wish you both well.

Talk to your local vet. Depending on the extent of the injury, it may be a lot less than you think. If it is more than you can pay all at once, talk to your vet about a payment plan. I would also suggest pet insurance. It is a low monthly cost but covers a good portion of routine visits, exams, x-rays, surgeries and dental care.

I often wonder why people ask question like this when the best place to ask is at their own vets. Every vet price is different , every surgery is different who is better to answer this than your own vet, who knows your dog.

I don't know what is wrong with your dog but my dog had his foot ran over and it broke a toe... that cost us $600 for that surgery.
