Too hard to say, depends on the type of surgery. Your vet could tell you.

You need to check with your personal vet about the cost for the surgery. If you are trying to get a comparison, call all of your local vets, describe what needs to be done, and ask for an estimate of the cost. If the cost is excessive, I think most vets will help you by providing a payment plan. The sooner you do this the better it will be for you and your poor little pug. I wish you both well.

Talk to your local vet. Depending on the extent of the injury, it may be a lot less than you think. If it is more than you can pay all at once, talk to your vet about a payment plan. I would also suggest pet insurance. It is a low monthly cost but covers a good portion of routine visits, exams, x-rays, surgeries and dental care.

I often wonder why people ask question like this when the best place to ask is at their own vets. Every vet price is different , every surgery is different who is better to answer this than your own vet, who knows your dog.

I don't know what is wrong with your dog but my dog had his foot ran over and it broke a toe... that cost us $600 for that surgery.
