"Did god really create us?"
and
"Does god really exist?"
In a religion forum where they know the answers will be biased?

Isn't that pointless though? I mean, you'll get your answer if you just read some of the other questions.

Please knock off the condescending "god bless". I don't end my posts in "blessed be" so I ask you to have the same respect that I would give you.
Thank you for your consideration.

They are looking for the answers that agree with their specific point of view. They discard all the others and thus feel justified in continuing on with their belief.
They generally don't want debate.

I see where you're coming from.
The reason ANYONE asks a question on here that's opinion-based is to stroke their self-esteem. Nothing more than that. Most people on here aren't really looking for answers, they're looking for affirmation of their beliefs.
Take for example, a question like "Why are Wiccans/atheists/Christians /Buddhists /Muslims/WHATEVER so stupid/brainwashed /hypocritical /satanic/WHATEVER?"
Best answer chosen by asker:
"Because they're idiots." Or something similar to that.
Meanwhile, the answers that disagree with the asker, the ones that are intelligent, well thought-out, and kind, are utterly ignored. And the asker continues to ask the same questions repeatedly.
Sigh. Ah well, people like you (and hopefully me) should just continue to answer those questions in whatever way we think is best. That's all we can do.
And by the way, if someone says "God bless," they're not trying to be condescending. And I see nothing wrong with a Wiccan or pagan ending their answers with "Blessed Be." I take it with the kindness it was intended with. We mean it, we want God to bless you!

LMAO!
No, really????
Actually, if you look at it, seriously; then no "Religion" really explains [a] that God exists and how; nor does it answer the Question of whether or not God really created us!?!?
Seriously, where do you see anything about God, except that He is Heaven and all is well on Earth!? And you have the simplistic story of Adam and Eve to say He created all of Mankind!?
No logical thinking person could accpet the Judeo-Hebraic Messianic Faiths' over simplified version of the "Answers" to these Questions, could they?
That's why the whole thing then boils down to "You have got to Believe in it!" ????
Talk about "willing suspension of disbelief", huh?
All the best.
Cheers!

i believe that could be part of the answer that they are looking for. most people ask the question not to start a fight, but out of a curiosity of what people believe in. some believe that evolution created man and others believe God created man.. some probably believe in a mixture. A lot of questions asked on here, or in life are biased, and that is what sort of makes people unique because of the different views they may have.

Maybe they are just frustrated with the board not moving for an hour, so they throw in a few inane queries to get it going again. Its funny though, when I ask a rare question, it seems to sink of the board, like it had a ton of bricks on top of it.

Because there are a ton of people who are not Christian based that are going to give opposing answers. Asking it in a religious section is going to cover both ends of the spectrum.
I personally cover the religous questions - especially like above to voice my opinion about God as a crutch (for some).

And so what forum would you suggest?
Is there any forum about religion, any discussion, any conversation that isn't biased, where the talk isn't shaded by personal opinion and dispositions?
do you think that the questions about God and God's workings can be discussed outside the context of faith? certainly God's existence cannot be proven nor disproven using so-called scientific methods...
There is nothing wrong with people having and expressing their opinions, their beliefs!!
god bless!

Why do people want to know why people ask questions like.... did god really create us? Because people are curious what others opinions are, and are forever optimistic that ONE DAY, they will finally know THE ANSWER.

Some people enjoy getting a rise out of others. Some are truly curious. Some I can't figure out.

Its because many really DONT KNOW they have not grown up in a environment where they heard about God and what he came to earth for. Many in school where told 1/2 the story...We evolved [no other explaintion]. If you dont know do you not ask?
