well yeah,thats why its called "sore",they hurt like h*ll,,gargle peroxide and water(equal amounts)it really does help in the healing process

it used too..but since i got my tonsils out i don't have that problem anymore..but i sometimes grind my teeth at night and my jaw and right ear get very very sore..ouch
