have tried krypt tune,new dist cap and rotor arm and plugs and air filter

hi there, i have worked on these a few times, the ignition system is common the fail on these all the time, get the spark plugs, ht leads, distributor cap and rotory arm changed, if it still persists them try and get hold of a descent coil, unplug the air mass metre to cancel that, if it is the air mass metre when disconnected it should rev a lot sweeter

Probably a new clutch - this happened on my Fiesta for a few weeks until it broke completely and I was left stranded on the A40. My fault entirely, of course - should have got it seen to as soon as the power problem showed itself.

Try lambda sensor and cat converter and check all spark plugs, recently had the same problesm with mine. Turned out to be spark plug, also check vacuums. : )

it may be one of your induction pipes have split and is sucking in to much air, or choke especially if automatic may need de-coking (ie) cleaning.
