The fact that she was removed from the house is a great start. However, it takes a great deal more evidence to have him jailed. It is entirely possible that the DA is still gathering the facts to ascertain whether or not the evidence is enough to get a conviction. Give it time and see what happens. While justice is pertinent, the most important thing is her safety.

Yes, he should pay. And unfortunately, within society today it is apparent that one can do whatever abuse to a child, even murder and get away with it. We need to start changing the laws. We as a society do not value our children. The statistics are as high as one in every 5 girls will be raped or molested by the time they turn age 18. God bless****

Maybe wheels are turning in the background that you dont know about? If the little girl was removed from the house then obviously some attention and action was taken.

They have to be able to PROVE it happened, its the little girls word against his.Plus momma would end up in hot water for allowing it to go on.She wanted her boyfriend more than her daughter to have a happy healthy life. The girl needs not to be put back with the mother.Dss has a tendancy to do the opposite along without our dysfunctional court systems.Thank you for being brave.Talk to the D.A. and see if theres anything he/she can do tho.

Congratulations for stepping up, most people wouldn't get involved. Thankfully you were there to see that she was protected when her mother wouldn't.
The legal system isn't perfect, depending on the case load, it can take a long time to be resolved. You did the right thing, now it's time for you to move on and let the legal system worry about him. It's up to them to punish him, he's no longer your problem.
Good luck.
