which state in the US would be best to live in if coming from outback Australia to live and work for a while?

Probably west Texas or Arizona. There are probably a lot of small towns that could use a nurse.

shoot,I dont know,depends on what work you do,what kind of atmosphere you like. surf the web in all different states that you feel you would like to live and then job search there. Good Luck

It really doesn't matter. Most of them are good. I know that Omaha Neb has an increasing Job market. But it really depends on you.
