I smoked marijuana with a friend last night for my 1st time. I'm 19 years old. I feel so guilty about it, like I'm the most low-down person in the world. I didn't like it, nor did I like the idiots I was with. (1st time really being around ONLY high people). My BF doesn't know, and I couldn't tell him because he hates marijuana, and I told him I was going to the casino, not in to an apartment complex to smoke some pot.
I realize you cannot tell me how to feel, it's just is this feeling normal?

Feeling bad or not is up to you. You are the only one who has to live with your conscious/guilt. This feeling is normal for you.
Here is the thing: You feel bad for what you did because it's against your values AND against your better judgement, you violated these values. Clearly, it appears that your value system is not as strong as you might like it to be. Now is a wonderful opportunity and time for you. You get to address your feelings about smoking pot - both your personal experience and your beliefs about the morality of it. Upon doing this, you have a choice - you can continue on smoking pot and beat yourself up over it, or you can clearly define your values and choose to live life in a way that is consistent with them.
Thumbs up to you for trying it - I don't recommend it, but I also believe that 'one should not knock it, until they have tried it.'
I think if you want this thing with your boyfriend to be a long term and trusting relationship, you should tell him. He should be understanding in the fact that you are young and are learning who you are. He has every right to get mad or be upset, but if he loves you or wants to be with you, he will accept it .
By the way, the reason you feel guilty is because you were trained/programmed by society to believe that smoking pot is wrong. The same concept applies to everything that leads us to feel guilty. For instance, growing up I learned that stealing was a way of life. The few times I did get caught and end up in jail, I felt bad - not because I stole, but because I got caught . Yes, I had a ****** up childhood and obviously bad influences. It was not until I was 17 , with a good foster family and community, that I actually learned the truth about stealing. I did not realize it was morally wrong until then. -- So you see our conscious/guilt is programmed by society.
Okay, anyway, um, I answered all your questions in the first set of words I typed - the rest of the stuff was rambling to help you understand...........

Why should you feel bad?
I've smoked it on a number of occasions and I hold down a professional job. I don't hurt anybody by doing so, I don't smoke it often (maybe a couple of times per-year!).
It's normal to feel guilty for being dishonest, but it's not the weed making you feel that way despite what anybody says ;)

It's normal to feel the way that you do, but you learned from your experience. Life is a learning process, now move on and don't give it another thought.

No... you are having an intelligent reaction to an unintelligent activity. You did lie about where you were going...that was wrong...but just do not do it again....you just found out marijuana was not worth it....so you learned something.

It's normal to feel bad, but don't let it get you down too much. Get rid of those 'friends' and get with others so that you can feel like you want. :)
