You can use the word object and create a word document using vb6.

Or
Create a template doc in word and place TAGs in it which a Find and replace may use. Automate the find and replace in VB6

OR
if you are using a data base you have two database report writting options:
1.) The built in MS report writer which works in a similar fashon to Access reports. (Click and drag)
2.) Crystal reports see MS kb193336
