Wow that was full on mate. Winning against Chelsea in pens doesn't matter, a wins a win and it had to come down to that anyway. I wouldn't say any United fan went into the final last season knowing we're gonna win it. We're not stupid mate, we know a threat in Messi, Xavi, Inesta etc when we see one. So Barce winning, fair enough, the better team at the time won. As for this season, i would never count United out as any football fan must admit, they're playing some great football at the moment. No longer the biggest or most stylish clubs in the world... i agree we're not what we used to be, but we're still somewhere up there. The funniest thing of all is this is coming from a Liverpool fan.

Real Madrid with 9 wins. But ever since the European Cup expanded into the Champions' League in 1992/1993 season only AC Milan (twice) and Real Madrid (thrice) has won it more than once.

The others are:
Marseille ('93)
Ajax ('95)
Juventus ('96)
Dortmund ('97)
Man U ('99)
Bayern Munich ('01)
Porto ('04)
Liverpool ('05)
Barcelona ('06)

Though Barca won the old European Cup in the last season ('91/'92) before it became the Champions' League.

Madrid, but the thing to remember is that they got 5 of them in a row in the late 50s,They were the only team that knew what was going on.
Take those 5 titles away and they go a way down.

Best team to ever win it has to be celtic, basically a local team where all the players were from within 30 miles of glasgow.Pure romance.
