Thanks for asking such a great queestion. Addictions are so prevalent in our society today. I am a pharmacist so I see first hand almost daily lives that are ravaged by drug abuse with the consequential destruction of relationships. A person can not be free to be in a relationship if they are addicted to anything. Because the addiction controls their life. It does not matter how much self discipline or how hard they try. They are not their master. The addiction is. I believe that addiction is a Spiritual problem. Self effort will not be enought to bring freedom. I believe that only Jesus
can set a person free from addiction. Other necessary steps
are having an accountability partner. ONE WHO WILL FAITHFULLY ASK YOU THE HARD QUESTIONS. There
are computer software programs that can allow your accountability partner to know what you have logged into
daily. If computer addiction involves pornography
I have good news for you. See www.settingcaptivesfree.com for some super help. If your issue is computer gambling or computer games the principles are the same. If you are a Christian, you may know that "If the Son (Jesus Christ) sets you free you are free indeed" John 3:36. If you are not yet a Christian you are on the threshold of discovering the most important thing in life! Best Wishes. Complete Victory is possible!
