my flower horn fish is between 2-3 years old.
never have i added other fish with it.
i feed it pellets but sometimes live shrimp and worms(the brown ones which feed with wood strips).
i am sure those are eggs because i never fed it other food than pellets for about 2 weeks.

I am a Fh keeper for the past 7 years. How do you know that your Fh has laid eggs. Do you have a mating pair ? Kindly arrange your questions with more details in order to help you with an answer.

By the way, if its a single female Fh, then it too late to add any male to fertilize the eggs. Next time when u breed u have to find a good pair. U can not just wait until the female lay eggs than put a male in expecting it will fertilize the eggs.

Breeding is a process in which the two fh do together just like a team. introducin a male after a female laid eggs will result in unfertilized eggs and eatten eggs.

Those eggs are unfertilized and will never hatch, pretty sood they will rot making your tank dirty. Remove them and throw them away. Many female flower horns lay eggs with our without a mate and they are yellow when unfertilized and white when fertilized.

"
Sexing Flowerhorn is quite easy, especially when they have reached the length of 10 cm – 12 cm. The anal pore of the fish has a V shape in case of males and a U shape in case of females. Moreover females tend to have a smaller hump when adults.

Being cichlids their reproduction can be similar to the cichlasoma one. The female lays eggs on a flat surface, like a rock or the aquarium glass and take care of them, while the male keeps other fish away. After 3 or 4 days the fry hatch and parents take care of them moving in more secure hiding places. You can feed them with just hatched brine shrimps and other specific food for fry.

Breeding is not so easy because female can be easily stressed or worried and ends up eating her eggs, anyway if the environment is quiet and the parents are healthy reproduction is possible."

so apparently she should not be stressed and the aquarium should be very healthy and there must enough enough food.

"One or both parents will clean the eggs and remove any bad ones. They will give good care to the fry until they are free-swimming, when the adult fish must be removed. Raising the fry should not be difficult as they are easy to feed once the yolk sac has been absorbed. As a first food "Liquifry" will be suitable for about the first five days. Next start feeding newly hatched brine shrimps and powdered flake food, but take care not to contaminate the water by overfeeding.

If the fish goes off its food, or lurks on the bottom of the aquarium it may be a sign that the water quality is not good, or it might have some disease. Common diseases are White Spot, Hole-in-the-Head, Fin Rot, Wasting Disease, or Gill problems."

this is really weird, its by itself? how can that lay any eggs? be sure to check if they really are fry. they may not be. they naturally lay clear eggs with sort of red in the middle, not yellow ones. well anyway, it may have been pregant at the pet store. did you recently bought it? this is really weird because if it is alone, it will not spawn. be sure to check, it may be a disease.

Female with eggs without male with sperm = no babies.
