I have claimed that I am something that Im not ( or I dont think I am) and I just feel that I need to get out of it. Help!

Do an announcment to those people, stating an apology or otherwise. Either by email of by telling them individually or as a group. good luck

I think most people will understand and forgive you if you just say: 'I'm sorry but I've done something really stupid' - and confess. They may not say so, but at least some of them will have claimed to be what they're not on the odd occasion. Don't worry too much - as they say: nobody died!

It is good you have realized your mistake.Go to the group you have offended and see their leader first.Tell him or her your mission and see what the advice will be given.If the answer is yes,approach that group in a very remorseful way and ask them for forgiveness.Iam sure they are human being and willing to forgive.No one in this world is perfect.

Can't really help if you don't tell us what you have said...have you said you're pregnant maybe?? If this is the case then you'll just have to say it was a mistake!! But don't lie about stuff like that, that's just nasty!!

Tell them you were only joking and thought they would laugh but as they didn't you were a bit overwhelmed so carried it on.Best to have a good mate pretend they were in on the joke.

well if the truth is worse than the lie, best not say anything and drop the pretense gradually, you know, just kind of ease out of your deception gently, that way know one has to be the wiser!!good luck!
