for moral stories, I'd look at Jesus's parabels in the bible, and several books in the Old Testament such as Daniel, Exodus, and the stories about Joseph are great as well. You can also look at Aesops fabels. And for that matter would also consider Al Gores movie AN INCONVIENT TRUTH a moral story of sorts.

Aesop's fables (there are a variety of translations)
There is a book of Jataka tales called Budda Stories by Demi -- Good stories and amazing illustrations (and the moral is at the end of each story).
