The month of september is very cushy for the sox the 3 games against the yanks are at home, 6 against Tampa, 17 of 27 games at home including the last 6. Go Sox

Sox will take home the AL East this year. They have the best rotation this year and a pretty nasty lineup. Go Sox!

The month of September is worth a hill of beans if they are already out of the race. They need to have the East put away no later than the third week of August. Yeah it is nice that they are going to have an easier September than in year's past but September will not be the deciding factor.
And...the league pennant don't mean squat...look at the Braves. Did them alot of good to win the pennant year after year. How many World Series did they win?

I don't know, the Yankees lately seem to always peak and get things together at the right time to keep their AL East crown. The Red Sox have at times struggled, so they have to play steady all year long.
But they have the team to do it for sure.

It really doesn't matter. Even if they do, Yankee fans will still walk around thinking their poop doesn't stink.
