First of all, Lesbianism or lesbian sex is not a disease. If she had sex with another girl, what's there to be ashamed of? Maybe she was just curious, and that was it.

Second, be more supportive, tell her that there is nothing to feel guilty about. She needs your support as a friend, and encouragement. Makes sure you tell her that she did right by exploring a part of her sexuality that most people is afraid to explore. Tell how strong she was for facing that which others won't face and yet live with the curiosity for their entire lives.

I do hope that when you speak about "change" you mean helping your friend to change her depressive state which is created by the guilt impossed by society, not about changing her from lesbian to straight person.

Accept your friends as she is, be supportive of her choices, and do not tell her ever that what she did was wrong; otherwise you would be contributing to make worse her depression.

No-one decides to be gay, it's always there, it just takes a little while to surface in some people. I had a crush on a female teacher when I was 6, obviously at that age I didn't know anything about sex, never mind sexuality, but I suppose that's when my preference for my own gender first put in an appearance. I've never ever wanted to be with a man and I've only ever had relationships with women.

Hon,
Just do what a good friend supposed to do,
That is be a good listener, try not to judge, and never put your 2 cents worth in UN less she asked.
She will get fed up if not for her and go back to her old self in due time.
But unit that time just be a good friend.

You are not a friend if you want to change her. What you should be doing as a friend is to assure her that being a Lesbian is not a bad thing.

"affected?" What the hell does that mean? She is either a lesbian or she is not. (Or maybe likes to switch hit on occasion). Help her discover who and what she is. If she is a lesbian, you'll have a good lifestory. "My ex-girlfriend is a Lesbian."

It is a very sad and difficult moment for you.Talk to her against the practice and see what her reaction will be.If she reacts positively, show her the odds of the practice. You can enlist the services of a counselor.Iam sure if she is your friend you can woe her into straight sexual life.

you should'nt try to change her!! she has to find happiness in herself abd learn to see herself for what she is!! you do need to stay by her side as her friend and lend a hand when she is down, but do not try to change her!!
