foster parent's do get paid for the upkeep of a child, whilst adoptive parent's don't
in some case's they even pay for the child!!
look at maddona!!(whoop's should'nt have said that)

Foster parents in the UK get paid too. Adoptive parents dont though

You get paid for fostering a child but if you adopt the child is legally yours and the £££ stops dead!!
