my computer keeps logging off after about 1/2 hr online. Why?

Maybe it's going on standby. I don't know anything about viruses, lol, never had one, sorry...

Does the internet connection give any warning that it's about to close? If so it could be the sasser virus which any half decent antivirus program that's up to date will clear. You might have to switch off system restore and start in safe mode before you do the virus scan to get rid of it permanently.

oh man this is a virus, i had it i month ago , oyu should format your pc to get it out, i know it sucks, but this is a virus
