This thought makes my mind explode...:) Just can't imagine how is it that it goes and goes and goes and never ends? Who said that it never ends? I guess, the one who also doesn't know it for sure:) There just must be something beyond it! It is easier to think like this... What is your opinion? What's there?

An interesting question that nobody really can answer. However, science books seem to indicate that the cosmos has a certain shape - this shape is being theorized by the scientists.
If it has shape then it has limits, borders! What lies outside? An old joke comes to mind, but first look at this serious answer from the Bible:
(Darby)Psalm 113:6, "Who humbleth himself to look on the heavens and on the earth?"
God is telling us that he is condescending to on our universe. There is another scripture saying that the heavens cannot contain him. (1 Kings 8:27) "But will God truly dwell upon the earth? Look! The heavens, yes, the heaven of the heavens, themselves cannot contain you; how much less, then, this house that I have built!"
So obviously, God has other irons in the fire - so to say.
Parallel universes or what? Your guess is as good as mine.
The old joke though is about two old tramps. One says to his friend, "Yesterday I was sitting at the wall at the end of the universe." His friend answered, "Oh really, you should have called out. I was sitting on the other side."
Sorry if the joke has been changed a bit due to time and faulty memory.

In all seriousness, for your peace of mind, think of it as a big fat Zero. Zero nothing might go on for eternity once the boundary has been exceeded.
Think of your wallet being empty - at that time, no matter how much you look it will still be empty. That is easy to understand.

This is more easily understandable if one considers the actual scale of the components of an atom. If one takes into account the fact that the neutrons, protons and electrons of an atom actually have huge spaces between them it becomes clear that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are made up of 99+ percent empty space.
This alone does not seem too important till you add the idea that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are more of a loose conglomeration that share a similar attraction but never really touch each other.
At first glance this does not really seem relevant, but closer analysis reveals that this adds a tremendous amount of empty space to solid objects that are already made up of atoms that are 99 percent space. When so-called solid objects are seen in this light it becomes apparent that they can in no way be the seemingly solid objects they appear to be.
We ourselves are not exceptions to this phenomenon.
These seemingly solid objects are more like ghostly images that we interpret as solid objects based on our perceptual conclusions.
From this we must conclude that Perception is some sort of a trick that helps us to take these ghostly images and turn them into a world we can associate and interact with. This clever device seems to be a creation of our intellect that enables us to interact with each other in what appears to be a three dimensional reality.
I hope that helps to answered your question.
Love and blessings Don

Why? must there be something beyond it!
Think about it! if there is...what could it be...the end?
Our minds were NEVER intended to have that mind of God.
Yet we look for the answer, to lifes most hardest problems.
I had some guys ask me, 'who made God'?..I said well some things your not supopose to have the answer for...They hated the answer.Humans are not suppose to have the answer for everything...........Our minds were and still not able to cope..

I wish I knew. It hurts just thinking about it. Since the universe is meant to be constantly expanding, then wouldn't that mean that behind the cosmos is just more cosmos?
