It is a christian idea that we are imperfect creations of an perfect God.

A rather novel but confused idea that God creates us imperfect so we can make mistakes called sins. God then gets angry at us for being imperfect, and broils us for eternity in a lake of fire.

If we are lucky this so-called loving God will save us form this horror with what is known as salvation.

If we are not lucky enough to find this salvation we are simple toast.

I find this to be a better description of a psychopathic monster than a loving God.

Salvation means being saved from suffering of some kind. In theology, the study of salvation is called soteriology. Salvation is an important concept in several religions. Christianity regards salvation as deliverance from bondage to sin and condemnation.

Salvation is freedom from the pain of sin.

redemption: (Christianity) the act of delivering from sin or saving from evil

a means of preserving from harm or unpleasantness; "tourism was their economic
salvation"; "they turned to individualism as their salvation"
the state of being saved or preserved from harm
saving someone or something from harm of from an unpleasant situation; "the salvation of his party was the president's major concern"

Restoration of our relationship with God through God's actions of reconciliation so that we can be assured of God's love and care now and beyond death.

.....all the best.

salvation: nirvana,moksha.

god or the all mighty in whom you believe created living creatures.it was stated that any creature that is born has to die.but the question was raised that after death where are the spirits ? there exists a word called rebirth which means that after death the person is born again.the cycle is continuos.

the freedom from this bondage of birth and rebirth is called salvation.
to attain salvation a person has to realise who he is ? why he is here? what is god? and other spiritual questions.it is a process of self realisation, which lead to the freedom of birth and rebirth.

God created man to bless us and keep us happy.

but man disobeyed God and sinned. The wages of sin is death.

But again God came in the form of man to releive us from death.

He did this by dying for us. Bse sin needs blood to be washed with. So Jesus (God) died by shedding all His blood for mankind.

And Jesus rose on the third day from death. By doing this He won death.

So whoever beleives in Him will have eternal life.
Now this is called salvation.

Salvation is the realisation that we are sinners and beleiveing in God , asking Him to forgive us , and living in Him for the rest of our lives.

now u may wonder that i said Jesus won death and then why do people die again.

the death i spoke abt was the death of our soul and not body.

remember we have a body and soul. the body is just dust and will return to dust. but the soul is which will be taken.

if we beleive in Jesus we will be saved.

He is our Saviour.

Only through Him there is Salvation....
