First of all, in order to play PS1 game on your PSP, your PSP need to have custom firmware 3.03 OE-c or 3.03 OE-c installed.

Assume you do, you need to rip you PS1 game disk into ISO using program like Alcohol or Clone CD.

Then you need to convert the PS1 ISO into PSP Eboot format. Yes you can use popstation but it is much easier using Simple Popstation GUIs.

Once you have the Eboot, just put it in PSP/Game directory and enjoy.
