hi Your leak is the water pump and the only restoration is a clean pump. you will not ought to resume the belt if it interior of reason new yet I constantly do as a precaution. do not placed RAD WELD IN A ROVER ok sequence!!! They run a techniques too warm as this is on the best of circumstances that's why they consume head gaskets and the thermostat is nice at the back of the engine. The engine has a techniques too many small and rather blocked waterways and you will reason terminal harm in case you upload rad weld to the coolant. I constantly propose on a water pump whilst i regulate a cambelt on a ok sequence because of the fact they're a nicely-liked failure and that they are as low-priced as chips. additionally, you will desire to constantly have the tensioner renewed on the comparable time because of the fact the belt because of the fact this is below purely as lots rigidity because of the fact the belt. If the tensioner wasn't renewed alongside with the belt then i'd have an entire belt and tensioner kit equipped alongside with the pump. I assume the tensioner became into replaced because of the fact this is simple preparation presently. Cheers Geordie

Hey! Although i don't have the answer to your question, i do have a tip..

In Halfords they usually have all the Haynes manuals there, and sometimes they don't have a plastic cover on them (I'm sure you could gingerly take this cover off, if there isn't one of the manuals you need with a cover off)... Just have a read through the book to find what you need, jot it down, and your done!

You'll always find me reading through the Haynes manuals in Halfords, and it saves a few bob!

Id also recommend this, as you never know who's answering on here, and to be honest, i couldn't trust someone on here to tell me what torque to tighten up something important too, a bit too much and you may sheer it.

Also Halfords do a 360 degree attachment for a torque wrench, which goes between the wrench, and the socket, and this helps you to get the angles right, as usually you have to tighten the bolts to a certain torque, and then turn them 1/4 turn etc..

Sorry about this long answer, its like a novel! :P

Good Luck! Ash :D
