Small glass wahing machine, where do I put the salt?

I'm working at a new restaurant and the glass machine is not effective as seems to be lacking in salt but, (as the instructions book has been lost) no one knows where the salt should go as there seems to be no compartment for it. Please help!!!

Just throw in a hand full, it will work fine.

What make is the machine??? Look for a cover or screw cap somewhere' it may be marked 'S' or 'Salt', possibly in the floor of the machine.
