I would argue that Boba Fett's ship is faster than the Millenium Falcon.

A better question is why long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away are there humanoids who speak perfect english. Both American and the Queen's?

And while were at it, why is it so noisey in that part of the galaxy? Do the laws of acoustics not apply there?

intergalactic travel takes so long that no space-opera would make any sense. it doesn't matter if you make that jump to lightspeed.
